Kayla Brown

Owner

Kayla Brown, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist living in Lake Charles, LA. Kayla graduated from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. She has spent her career as a speech-language pathologist providing pediatric and adult services in the school, outpatient, home-health, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals and private practice throughout the Southwest Louisiana area. In caring for her clients, Kayla emphasizes a holistic, functional, and individualized approach. She believes everyone has a right to communicate in a way that is authentic to who they are, and has always respected the pediatric and adult populations she works with by collaborating with them to establish functional goals in therapy.

As a life-long learner, Kayla continues post-graduate training and learning in areas of speech, swallowing, feeding, voice, and communication. In particular, Kayla has a passion for working with the pediatric population in the areas of speech/articulation therapy, language therapy and swallowing therapy with adults. Kayla is committed to excellence and fully honors her responsibility to hold paramount the welfare of persons she serves and their families professionally.

When she is not working as a speech-language pathologist, Kayla enjoys traveling the world and engulfing in different cultures. She also enjoys attending fitness classes and spending quality time with her loved ones.
